I have an application where I want to use the ADRF6780 in a full duplex transceiver configuration. As such the noise floor of the part is of particular concern. The datasheet states that the parts carrier to noise floor is about -147 dBc/Hz when run at 7 dB gain or higher.
My question concerns the spectral density of the noise, specifically how does the noise floor roll off as you move further away from the operating RF frequency. Is the noise floor wide band and flat, or does the noise floor roll off as you move further from the carrier?
In my application I'm interested in the noise floor 500 to 600 MHz away from the RF operating frequency as that is where the receiver will be operating.
Does Analog have any measurement data relevant to this?
