Hi,

We are experiencing HDMI sink device test's 8-5 TMDS minimum differential swing tolerance failures.

8-5 TMDS -- Min/Max Differential Swing Tolerance

The standard requires VDIFF (minimum) to be < 150 mV with 4k2k resolution input at 2.9V and 3.3V VICM voltage level.

Below is our failure result:

HDMI Port A

VICM=2.9:VDIFF (min) =  170 mV

VICM=3.3V:VDIFF (min) = 120 mV

VICM=3.3V:VDIFF (max) Support: Y

HDMI Port B

VICM=2.9:VDIFF (min) =  190 mV

VICM=3.3V:VDIFF (min) = 130 mV

VICM=3.3V:VDIFF (max) Support: Y

both ports failed at 2.9V DC VICM voltage level. my question is if there is any EQU settings we can adjust to improve this test with 2.9V DC VICM voltage level input? I applied all the latest 1.9c script settings, but did not notice any help on this failure. Please check this item with the expert for us. Need urgent help to improve this failure.

Thanks.

regards,

Chris Yao
