Everyone,I use cces to analyze 21489 code.I use Profiling With Instrumented Code,But I have a mistake, please see below.
I refer to is this, please see below:
What's the problem?Thanks!
As I checked here with the 21489 example code using CCES 2.2.0 . I can generate the code analysis report successfully
Please follow the below steps that I used for creating a code analysis report:
1.Imported the 21489 example code into CCES IDE.
2.Enabled the "Enable compiler instrumented profiling" option under Project > Properties > C/C++ Build > Settings > Tool Settings > Compiler > Processor > Enable compiler instrumented profiling.
3.Then builded the code successfully.(Please note that you should not rebuild the application before generating the report, because the IDE raises an error if the data file is older than the executable file).
4.Then generated the Instrumented Profiling Report as procedure given in the CCES help path.
CrossCore® Embedded Studio 2.2.0 > Integrated Development Environment > Debugging Executable Files > Generating Code Analysis Reports>Generating an Instrumented Profiling.
If you are still facing the same issue, please share your project along with the steps to replicate your issue and also the CCES version that you are using.
Thanks to reply. My cces project in the company is in a state of encryption,So can't provide the project.
I use the CCES version is:184.108.40.206.
I follow the steps you provide, but still failed!
We can generate the code analysis report successfully in CCES 1.2.0.
Can you please try the below:
1-keeping the project in less directory iteration and close the IDE complete, delete the existing project in the IDE.
2.-Import the fresh project into the IDE.
3.Enable the "Enable compiler instrumented profiling" option under Project > Properties > C/C++ Build > Settings > Tool Settings > Compiler > Processor > Enable compiler instrumented profiling.
4.Build the project and the select debug configurations .
5.Then run the code and then Click File>New>code analysis report>Instrumented profiling.
6.A windows appears to choose the file, then you click the browsing icon to browse the dxe file, .prf file available in your project directory and then click finish.
Also you can download and install the latest version CCES 2.2.0 which is available in the below link:
If the error still remains, please confirm whether you are facing issue only with this project or also with other projects.
For more details refer to the CCES help section given below:
CrossCore® Embedded Studio 1.2.0 > C/C++ Compiler Manual for SHARC® Processors > 2 Achieving Optimal Performance From C/C++ Source Code > Analyzing Your Application > Profiling With Instrumented Code
I changed a new path, please see below:
But still failed, please see below:
I read the cces -help, but can not find the problem!
The attachments are my documents!@
Can you please try with the example project which will be available in CCES installation path and see if you see the same issue:
<installation path>\Analog Devices\ADSP-21489_EZKIT-Rel1.0.0\21489_EZ-Board\Examples
Can you please confirm if you are facing this issue only with this project or any other project.
Can you please share us your project and you can share the project by contacting private support through the link below if you do not want to share it via this public forum: http://www.analog.com/support Or you can email to Processor Tools Support through: email@example.com
Please make sure to add the link of this EZone thread while contacting private support.
I test the projects of <installation path>\Analog Devices\ADSP-21489_EZKIT-Rel1.0.0\21489_EZ-Board\Examples,
I found it to work normally.
But I test my own engineering, it didn't work normally(Including other projects)!
These projects have a voice input and output.
I really don't know what reason!
You have mentioned that you are able to generate the instrumented profiling successfully with the example project, we also confirmed the same here with example project. It will be much better to assist you if you could share us your complete project. You can share us your project by contacting private support through the link below if you do not want to share it via this public forum: http://www.analog.com/support
