Hi all,

My ADAU1442 has three different audio sources. I also have fail over mechanism in my DSP project file ( DSP layout) to switch to another audio source (possibly priority) whether  the main source is gone or not. The bring up requirement was passing audio above -73dBFS. the new requirement is passing audio above -92 or -93 dBFS. I added a "DSP readback" block to be able to read the value and set the threshold on the DC input block,

1- but I am not sure what is the best format number to capture this very small value in DSP readback block.

2- what will be the right format and also right DC value to set the threshold.

the current format for both blocks are 24 4 with DC threshold of 0.25 to pass audio above -73dBFS to audio output port.
