Our config is AD-FMCOMMS2 card with Xilinx FPGA board KC705. Reference is no-OS design.
When a complex DC, e.g. 64+j*0 is sent to I+j*Q channels of one transmitter TX (wired to RX), at RX a complex DC is received but its power and phase are randomly jumping at each data capture. Are we expecting this?
Q1: Is it possible to pass DC or near-DC component (e.g. OFDM DC bin) through the card?
Q2: If no, what is the practically usable frequency range in baseband, e.g. the lowest and highest usable frequency?
