when I am running an application on the target and rebuild the application, then CCES automatically reloads the binary onto the target. Is there an option in CCES to disable the automatic reload?
Preferences for each debug launch configuration are stored in your workspace (.metadata).
If you edit the launch configuration's preference file in .metadata\.plugins\org.eclipse.debug.core\.launches (e.g. test Debug.launch), you'll see a preference "<booleanAttribute key="PopReloadDialog" value="false"/>".
If you close down CCES, change the option to true, open CCES and re-launch, you'll be prompted if you want to reload your program once again.
Alternative, you could create a brand new launch configuration.
Hi Jens ,
Disable the option "Run immediately after load" in "select a program to load" window.
Select a program to load window: Run (from menu) > Debug configurations > create a new session > on the session tab click add (select a program to load window)
thanks for your answer. I disabled "Run immediately after load" from the existing session tab, but it didn't help. I am not sure if we talk about the same. "Run immediately after load" is a different thing which I definitely want. My problem is something like "Reload immediately after Build" which I would like to disable.
If I rebuild the application, I don't want CCES to bring it to the target automatically. I just found that there was a popup window where I probably enabled this (including Remember my decision):
I cannot find how to disable this again.
This is due to the reason that you have checked "Remember my decision" option. I searched to see if this can be reverted but i could not find any information. Is it possible for you to uninstall and reinstall CCES and see if it helps
this problem is still existing and I don't know how to solve this. Re-installing CCES is not an option. Is this option somehow saved in the project files? Who can I ask for help on that?
that was the point!
