We're using an ad9649 for analog capture of about a thousand signals. Each signal has its own (differential) clock.
A multiplexer switches between the sources, simply connecting the ADC to the clock and analog lines using semiconductor switches.
This switching will cause the clock signal to the ADC to "glitch".
We're having issues with the system that it stops acquiring data after a while and only a hard reboot can restore it. One theory is that the clock glitches cause the ADC to "crash" in some way, and then no more data comes out.
Is this a viable option? Or is the ad9649 "resilient" to this?
