I need to synchronize the outputs with a 1:1 divide ratio on the 9508 evaluation board. There appears to be a jumper that allows a direct connection to the sync pin, but it is not clear on which side I need to put the sync signal.
On the eval board, the DUT side of the jumper has a bypass cap to ground a pull-up resistor. Therefore, if you probe the voltage of both pins with the jumper removed, it should be obvious which side is the DUT side.
Also, grounding SYNCb stalls the outputs, so if one pin doesn't work, try the other.
Thanks for the response, Paul. I am surprised that there is not an SMA connector to implement the SYNC function. I need to implement a clock system with 16 outputs at 500 MHz that all start simultaneously with a full clock pulse, so that is an important signal
