i write OPEN MODE like this ,but it didn't work ,what's wrong
the sdi data reg 02h d23:d0=x"000004"
r4:r0="00010" a2:a0="000" r4:a0="00010000"=x"10"
so i write sdi d23:a0=x"00000410" is this right?
The HMC834 SPI interface may not be operating in Open mode. At power-on this device selects either SPI HMC or Open mode depending on the state of SEN and SCK. See page 40 in the datasheet.
i can work in HMC mode, but is not stable,so i want to try OPEN MODE ,then write the two mode together ,
but open mode did not work
i have done something to make sure rising edge on SCK is before SEN in my timing diagram when in open mode
You mention HMC mode is not stable -- this may point to an undefined signal at power-on. We recommend pull-down resistors to insure SEN/SCK signals are not floating in case the controller tri-states all output signals during power-on.
With a DSO you can check the SEN/SCK state during power-on. If these signals are not pulled down any glitches may cause the HMC834 to enter the wrong mode.
