I have a question regarding INV_HS_POL, IO, Address 0x06 and INV_VS_POL, IO, Address 0x06 for ADV7610,
Are those bits work as inversion bits OR force polarity of HSYNC,VSYNC to either positive or negative independent on input polarity?
As per user guide UG-438 page 16 as reference, INV_HS_POL, IO, Address 0x06 is a control to select the polarity of the HS signal. INV_VS_POL, IO, Address 0x06 is a control to select the polarity of the VS/FIELD/ALSB signal. By default 0-> negative polarity and 1-> positive polarity.
Point is that I write 0xA0 value to 0x06(IO) and I have positive polarities for both sync signals, but should be negative according to UG-438.
What happened to writing "1" value ? Was it positive or negative?
it becomes negative.
