I would like to drive the adum from a standard pwm with a bit of cmos glue logic.
Can this be easily done or will the input protection diodes create too much delay
The ADuM3223 has an absolute max voltage on the VIA and VIB pins of 0.5 V above the VDD1 voltage. This must not be violated. To drive the ADuM3223 from a 12 V PWM driver, you can use a reistor divider to divide down the 12 V signal to ranges in line with the VDD1 voltage selected. VDD1 should be limited below about 6 V.
