Hello - my customer is using theADUM5000ARWZ isolated DC/DC converter in their design. They notice spurs at switching freq appearing above the allowed FCC limits. Is there a layout guide that may help them?
Jjgjr: I reviewed your schematic and layout. The emissions of the ADuM5000 can be reduced by adding stitching capacitance according to the app note AN-0971. Your Layout shows 8 layers, with 4 GND layers and 1 PWR layer, which can be used to create an overlapping stitching capacitance in the inner layers, as shown in top picture of the attached. This can help reduce the emissions many dBuV if enough stitching capacitance can be made.
Please send the emissions data on the ADuM5000 to review.
