Can someone point me to objective numbers on data throughput for the BF70X external interfaces?
Our design will have a BF706 connected to an FPGA, and we want to choose the interface that provides the highest burst performance for ~1Kbyte blocks. We need to take into account DMA / internal memory transfer, too.
If the BF707's DDR interface is considerably better at moving data, then we can make the switch. Otherwise, I'm assuming we'll want to use either the PPI or SMC (static memory) interface.
If hard numbers aren't available, then I would appreciate any guidance on gotchas when trying to determine these numbers ourselves.
BTW, USB isn't an option for us to interface with the FPGA.
