Connect custom module output to a peripheral

Hello,

I am using the ZYNQ ZC702 and the FMCOMMS3, and I have custom TX and RX base band modules implemented on the ZYNQ.
The data path is as follows
Tx (baseband) --> FIFO --> DAC --> TX --- RX --> ADC--> FIFO --> Rx(baseband)

I am trying to send the Rx baseband output to UART (or any other peripheral).
I tried transferring data from the PL to the PS, but I'm unsure about how to view the content of the memory mapped registers.
As far as I understand, the IIO debug gives the values of the registers present in the Analog board and not the ZYNQ, correct?

Is there a way wherein I can write a C code to view/print the output to a file? If so, how do I do it? (As I cannot program the ZYNQ using SDK interface once the linux image is mounted on the processor from the SD card)

Is there a way I can output the Rx (baseband) data in any other way using the reference design?

Any help will be really appreciated.
Thank you
