I just look at the SSM2537 class D amp and try to understand wheter it could play audio samples that have been sampled at 6 kHz.
It is not clear for me how to interpret the documentation concerning clockspeed and sample frequency.
The input to this amplifier is a PDM stream. They are either 64 x fs or 128 x fs so this part can operate in these two modes only. Since the master clock input, MCLK, has to be 64x or 128x fs the minimum clock frequencies will give you the minimum sampling rate. For the two modes this is 1.84MHz/64 or it is 3.68MHz/128 which means that the minimum sampling frequency is 28.75 kHz.
So I am wondering what source you are using that can output a PDM signal sampled at 6kHz?
