Wireless connection affect on pregnancy

I am currently developing a product that pregnant mothers can wear during pregnancy. However, the device will need to be connected to the mothers phone so that she can be updated with information throughout the day. I am unsure though of whether it is safe to use a wireless connection like bluetooth around unborn babies, as I have read that it could have an affect on their foetal development, although I have also found that radio waves from the internet on your phone can be more harmful than a wireless connection. I was looking for some advice on whether wireless connections are harmful, what I would need in the product to enable a wireless connection, and if there are any alternative ways to connect the device to a phone which may be less harmful?
