One of the customers want to sent 48kHz 24bits TDM 7.1ch with I2S.
And we think ADV748x can only do this.
We think ADV7611 can't sent 7.1ch with I2S.
Is this understand is correct?
Yes that's correct: 4 data pins and each handles 2 channels. It supports up to the limits of the HDMI spec which is a maximum bit rate of 6.144Mbps.
ADV7610 and ADV7612 could do it but ADV7611 has only one I2S data pin so it cannot.
Thank you for your answer!
Your answer helps us very much.
Our customer want to use this in automotive application so they should chose ADV7612.
At P68 of hardware manual,
ADV7612 can output 8ch-max so it can support 7.1ch surround.
Is my understanding is correct?
Also ADV7480 says ADV7480 can support up to 48kHz with 8-Channel.
What is the maximum frequency when ADV7612 support 8-Channel?
