What are the AD9629's min and max propagation delays?

I'm working on the design of an upgrade of an existing product. The existing product makes use of the AD9235. For our new product, we are considering the AD9629. In the AD9235 datasheet, you can find tpd specified as both min and max values relative to the input clock. For the AD9629 the tpd is only specified as a typical value. That's obviously not enough information to verify setup and hold times relative to the input clock.

 

However, I do notice the DCO pin of AD9629 and how its signal appears to have a tight relationship with the data signals. After a bit of thought and digging around (e.g. this post), it appears that the AD9629's design is intended to only use the DCO to drive the read out process (and not the input clock). Is this correct? If that is the case, and we continue with the AD9629, then there is effectively a clock boundary that I have to manage in the new design that I didn't have to manage in the old design.
