Hi All,

        I am working on impedance based measurements,Here i am using AD5933 for impedance and phase measurement.

I am confused with some problems, I refereed the application notes and it was very useful,still i am stuck in phase measurement.

I am getting impedance perfectly but phase is not at all in hand.

Actually for capacitors we should phase shift of 90deg. but I am getting some -54deg.

As per the datasheet we should subtract the system phase from calculated DUT phase.

My experiment setup is Frequency=30kHz,DUT is capacitor=33pf.

The REAL and IMAGINARY value is as follows,

REAL=

4835

IMAGINARY=1680

Calculated Results:

Impedance=193795.6

Phase=-54.01

I have attached the calculated data please have a look and help me!!!!!!

Regards,

Sony Sunny.
