I'm interested in maximizing the number of audio channels available as input into this device. There are a total of 4 microphone/analog inputs and a single TDM capable digital serial input (2-8ch).
In working with SigmaStudio the channel routing and design elements limit the channel count in the schematic flow to just 4 individual channels. Each of these can be configured to be any analog or digital input; however, the maximum number of simultaneous signals appears to be 4.
Is this a hardware limit of the ADAU1772 or a limit imposed on the part through SigmaStudio based on the expected use cases?
Ideally I'd like to have access to all 4 analog inputs, the 2 analog outputs as well as sending digital audio in and out of the chip.
