I was told the new release of the SDK, with the SpiMasterSlave example with an RTOS would be released by the end of this week. It hasn't been released. Can you give me an update on when it will be released?
The new release has been posted to the ADuCM350 Product Page on analog.com. Please follow the link for "ADuCM350 Software Development Kit". Registration is required to download.
There was a last minute addition of an example (actually another SPI example!) which held up the release last week. It will release this week, hopefully today (Monday 18 January). There will be a post here confirming the release.
Oh good, I am looking forward to checking out the SPI examples. Please release as soon as possible :-)
Will this new SDK also include fixes for GCC posted some time ago?
Thank you very much.
amf There is a backend update happening this week on Analog.com which is delaying us from posting the new release. I expect it to be posted before the end of this week.
Carlo.Astel where possible, we included those fixes.
Any update on when SDK 2.4.0 will be released? If there's still a delay, any chance you could post the new SPI examples? I've been pounding on this SPI slave program with the function run_the_slave_rx_prologue_then_tx_test
for two weeks and cannot get the handshaking to work correctly. It sort of works, but never quite exactly right. And always the first time after you unplug the USB cable from the SPI dongle to the laptop and plug the USB cable back into the laptop, the slave sends the wrong bytes over MISO ... but every time thereafter if you don't touch the USB cable and re-run the slave program and the LabVIEW master program ... the slave sends the correct bytes to the master. It's really driving me crazy. I swear there must be a bug (or maybe something undocumented going on as
far as a slave transfer). I need to work on it all weekend (I have to get this working soon). I'd really love to look at those examples. Thanks.
