Hi all,

I built the kernel (Altera 4.0) for AD9361 according https://wiki.analog.com/resources/tools-software/linux-software/altera_soc_images

By using the no-os linux platform code under the Altera SocKit, a device file named "spidev32766.0" should be located at /dev. But I cant find it there. In the booting report I get the info

[0.000000] Linux version 4.0.0-g276bad4 (mz@mz-Aspire-V5-552) (gcc version 4.7.3 20121106 (prerelease) (crosstool-NG linaro-1.13.1-4.7-2012.11-20121123 - Linaro GCC 2012.11) ) #1 SMP Tue Jan 5 22:02:25 CET 2016

[2.356173] ad9361 spi32766.0: ad9361_probe : AD9361 Rev 2 successfully initialized
[2.980175] ad9361 spi32766.0: ad9361_dig_tune: Tuning RX FAILED!
[3.519534] ad9361 spi32766.0: ad9361_dig_tune: Tuning TX FAILED!

I generate the soc_system.rbf file from the sof-file with the master HDL code version.

Do you have a idea why it does not work?

Thank you.
