I have an application where I plan to use the ADXL377 where the initial shock is 1000g for about 10 msec. I'm assuming that it will survive this shock, so what I need to know how fast the ADXL377 will recover from this overload.
We did not have the characterization data which can reflect your test condition. But according to design, the saturation recovery time for the ADXL377 is essentially zero. The group delay of the RC filter is going to be the only mechanism that would casue a time delay between input and output.
Eg: set BW to 100Hz, Cx=Cy=Cz=0.05uF, then the delay will be 160 * 0.05 = 8ms.
