FPGA trigger and data send

Hi - I currently have my ZC706 with AD9361 on Linux OS. I am getting close to having Simulink trigger an event when an FFT matches a certain frequency and minimum amplitude. In this case, since the data would be coming from the FPGA through ethernet and computed on my laptop, this is not ideal. I would like this to be close to real time, so I want all the math to be done on the FPGA and not on my laptop. I would like to have the FPGA store a certain amount of samples continuously, and when a certain frequency and amplitude are matched, have the current stored samples sent out to my PC for me to post process. If someone could point me in the right direction for how I can go about doing this, I would really appreciate it.

Thanks,

-D
