I am using a ADAU1452 for my upcoming project and got a bit confused of the selfboot pin (#34).
ADAU1452 IC Manual tells me that I can permanently set this pin HIGH to perform selfboot after power up / reset. That is what I want.
However the evaluation board manual describes that the selfboot pin must be set to LOW in order to write to the EEPROM (Page 17).
So is it really necessary to have a switch for this pin? Other possibilities? I wanted to use SPI communications adopted from the design example.
Beste regards and thanks in advance
