AD7606 output stuck at zero, at low tempereture

  I am using the AD7606 Octal 16 bit ADC in serial mode.

A component failure has meant that the ADC does not receive
a reset pulse at power up. It work okay at room temperature. However if I reduce
the temperature below -20C, when I power it up it fails to respond. The busy
line is always high. The serial output is zero, all the way. Has anyone else seen this? Does it make sense?

I am operating it with AVcc= 5V (main power) and
Vdrive = 3.3V. 3.3V is generated from the 5V.
