hi! I've read on several PDFs that those files exist but I haven't found a library that actually have them. Can anyone help me get them? I'll need them in order to draw the schematic of a proyect which also includes the Surveyor SRV1 board.
we have the BF537 as a eagle package but not the whole EZKit Board.
We use PADS layout viewer to view the orig.EZBoard schematics, maybe PADS (not the viewer) is able to export files in a format that is readable via eagle.
Hi! The eagle package would also be useful! Where do I download it? Oh, by the way, I did found this file "ADSP-BF537_EZ-KIT_Lite_Design_Reference_Info" but I can't find any files that could be opened with eagle. Am I supposed to import some of them or maybe use another board editor? I'm kind of new on pcb design, I hope I'm not asking dumb quetions!
We have an eagle package for the BF537. But what do you really want to do?
Create a new board with parts from BF537EZKit including also SRV1 schematic?
EZKit and all the other ADI schematics are drawn with Mentor Graphics PADS. The kits including PCB files
which are readable with the free version PADS-Layout viewer. But there is no direct link to import it into eagle.
Eagle only imports P-CAD/Altium, protel boards or gerber files.
I don't know SV1 and what PCB program is used for this. If you build it from scratch you can choose your own PCB program. Eagle is cheap and works. We use it for years.
I think its not a trivial task to put this to boards together. There is a new opensource PCB editor KiCad?
I want to include the blackfin package on a schematic I'm doing. If you have it, could you be so kind in sharing it?
By the way, do you happen to know if the Surveyor SV1 board has all the PPI ports physically connected to the camera connector? That board is supposed to be made to be used with an 8-bit camera (included on the kit), but we would like to change that camera to a 16-bit one. Thanks for your time pfeifferc !
Eagle should not be the problem, it may take a while-we have to extract the BF537 from our lib, so maybe next week I can send it to you. What package do you want to use ???
I have no info about the SV1 board - sorry
In addition: TI have some BSDL files on
BSDL Model Files | Analog Devices
so with some eagle know how - there are some training videos in web, you are able to read in
the BSDL files and create the package.
We only have the Eagle Package for 208-Ball CSP BGA Package
thanks for your answer! (and sorry for the late response by the way!)
