We want to use the ADE7878 for measuring half-wave RMS Values of Voltage, Current and for Phase Voltage Sag Detection. It should be used to detect a Voltage Sag when a LVRT (Low Voltage Ride Through) occurs on a Phase. The detection of a LVRT (voltage dips to under 0,9 * Uc) should be less than 20 ms. After the detection we need a half-wave RMS Value of the voltage for control strategy.
My Question is: how long does it take to get a new RMS value, when the voltage dips on a phase?
Example: The Voltage dips to 0V. Does a new RMS Value need the specified 440 ms to settle or less? Is it possible to calculate the half-wave RMS values of voltage and current?
