AD9649 data bus when out of range

I’m having an issue with my system and am starting to suspect my understanding / assumptions about the AD9649 may be at the root of the issue.  When the analog input exceeds the allowable range (2V differential) the OR (Over Range) output gets set, but what do the data bits (D13:0) do at this time?  It has been my assumption that they ‘stick’ at the maximum positive (0x1FFF) or maximum negative values (0x2000) until the over range condition goes away, but in the data I’m seeing today I’m suspecting that they may roll-over or do something other than stick at the max / min values.

Can you let me know what the expected behavior of the data bits are in an over range input condition?
