What group delay(decimation filter and interpolation filer) about ADC & DAC in “ADAU1772” ?
All this is in the datasheet. Have a look at Table 6, in there it has the group delay listed as 38us analog in to analog out going through the DSP with a simple pass-through program. The fs of the core, the ADCs and the DACs was 192kHz.
If you are using a different signal path or sampling rate then look at the Typical Performance Characteristics section of the datasheet. The only thing I need to add is that the first graphs, figure 10 - Figure 15 are at 48kHz which is not a valid core sampling rate. I will be correcting that with the next datasheet revision.
So figures 20, 25, 32, 37, 39, 44, 49, 51, 56 all are showing group delays using different audio data paths and different sample rates.
Keep in mind that this part is very different from other parts when it comes to the serial ports. The serial ports go through sample rate converters and are not often setup at the same rate as the core and the ADC and DACs. The device is designed to be a filter engine and quickly compute filters for noise cancelling algorithms and be mostly an analog to analog solution. That said, there are many customers using the serial ports for outside processing.
