I can set break points but they never stop. My code is highly optimized. In fact it can not run if I turn off optimization.
I quite simply cannot debug without the ability to at least halt my processor.
Everything is compiled right near as I can tell, and I am able to set breakpoints in non-critical code. But its the critical stuff that's giving me the grief.
In one case the processor died when I hit the break point.
Can anyone tell me what I can do about this? (My experience with other compilers and highly optimized code was that the JTAG was at least able to stop the processor. Although not always where I expected it.)
