Application problem with ADUM7223 in an IGBT pilot circuit

Hello,

I have realized a circuit with ADUM 7223 to drive 4 IGBT; the circuit I realized is similar to the one reported in the following discussion (https://ez.analog.com/message/215603#215603) with a load limitator resistor (Rboost) between VDDA and the diode, and the IGBT instead of MOSFET.

At first, I have conducted some tests with no input current applyied ( ADUM 7223 only connected to 15V supply) and results were good. Switching on the current (320V), after little time, the ADUM 7223 stopped to work, and an overcurrent had been measured.

Do you know what could be causing the problem? how could I solve it?

Thank you in advance.

Roberto.
