Am using three TS201s in parallel.Intend to boot the master via eprom(flash) and the other two simultaneously by link ports.is this optimum??
The link port booting can be faster as the link ports can run upto 500 MHz speed. If the master is another TigerSHARC processor then it will be easy to boot the slave, otherwise an FPGA is needed to implement the link port protocol. Because of this, I feel that your approach will be better. You can boot the master processor with the flash and the other two slave devices with link port.
