I have an adv7391 with CVBS output, after configure PAL according to datasheet, I can get color bar display normally on general CRT  monitor.

register settings:

0x17<- 0x2

0x84<-0x40

0x80<-0x11

0x82<-0xc3

0x8c<-0xcb

0x8d<-0x8a

0x8e<-0x09

0x8f<-0x2a

But when connect  to some LCD monitor, there is abnorml diagonal cyclowarp.

After set the register 0x00 from 0x12 to 0x10, ie 2x oversampling to 16x oversampling.

The cyclowarp is gone.

I would like to know what is the oversampling for? Is it necessary requirement by some TV or signal standard ?
