The datasheet on the AD8226 specifys input protection voltage of 40V from the opposite supply rail. It then goes on to say that in order to protect against larger voltages, the current should be limited. However it does not specify the max current this input can take.
I plan on having resistors between the AD8226 inputs and the voltage source. I am trying to size my resistors such that the input current during an overvoltage situation will not damage the part.
So, to get to the question: What is the max current that this part can take on it inputs?
