I have the DDS 9958/59 evaluation board and the software version 1.0.
My questions are as follows:
1.There are elliptic filters on the board which are designed for a 200MHz filter. I am aiming for a frequency range of 3-30 MHz range. Is there an equation or a formula to recalculate the component values on it.
2.Is there a source code available for controlling the DDS using a microcontroller. Any suggestions on a compatible microcontroller.
3. I was trying to perform the Linear sweep using the board but I was not able to get to sweep the signal. I was using an input from a function generator of a frequency 30MHz.I loaded the linear sweep mode and the frequency file on to the software.The Ref clock was set to 30MHz. The multiplier was set to 16 to obtain a System clock of 480MHz.Are there any settings which I need to change other than the default settings.
