ADV7611 - why use Prim_Mode =110b HDMI-GR for video resolutions?

most of the sample scripts for the ADV7611 set PRIM_MODE to 110b, HDMI-GR for video resolutions (480i, 480p, 720p etc), although one might expect to use PRIM_MODE = 101b (HDMI-CP) for those input resolutions.

Indeed, in the Hardware Users Guide for the chip, Table 6 on pages 20 & 21 document the use of PRIM_MODE = 101b for 480i, 480p and 720p.
