I am considering using the AD9910 in super-nyquist mode to achieve tones in the 915 MHz range. I read application note AN-939, and I see that the AD9912 was featured in that artical.
1) Are there any limiting factors that would prevent super-nyquist operation of the AD9910?
2) Any reason not to use the 2nd image as the frequency to pick off? For example, running the sample clock at 700 MHz with an output frequency of 215 MHz produces the 2nd image at 915 MHz. The application note shows use of the 3rd image.
Thanks in advance,
