How to use the '-stack-detect' compiler switch in Visual DSP++?

I am using VisualDSP++ 5.0 for BF524 Processor. I just wanted to verify whether my application is causing stack overflow. I treid to include the compiler switch "-stack-detect' in Addtional Options under Project Options->Compiler.

But once i try to compile i am getting this error in both Release and Debug methods :

cc3103: {D} error: Unrecognized option `-stack-detect'
ccblkfn.exe: 1 error detected

Is there any other way to find whether in my application Stack overflow is happening?
