Question about Inserting high performance Op-Amp at the differential input of precision high data-rate ADC - AD7763

Some ADCs, like the AD7763, have an on-chip op-amp differential amplifier.

In the evaluation board scehmatics for the AD7763, there is a part which shows the component values to populate for interfacing to the differential amplifier inputs correctly.

However, there is an option, to use a low-noise op-amp, in addition to the already present on-chip op-amp for the AD7763.

I like to know if anyone can elaborate on this item, and how come the evaluation board is not using this buffer, or what if we use this buffer in out designs.

Best regards,
