what do I have to do to make the Class-D outputs work on my ADAU1701 Eval Board ?
DAC_0 and DAC_1 are connected in my project and downloaded, but no audio comin out.
DAC_2 and DAC_3 are ok and working.
Also on my second eval board same problem.
it was MP7 to be set to GPIO_Input. Thats it.
Thanks for pointing this out. It's not clearly documented in the datasheet.
For everyone else, please note:
On the EVAL-ADAU1701MINIBZ, the class D output amp has a shutdown pin that is active low. In order for the Class D amp to be active, that signal must be pulled high. The ADAU1701's MP7 pin is connected to the shutdown pin. So, you must either set the MP7 pin to an active-high output, or set it to an input (in which case it goes high-impedance and the line is pulled up by R1).
