Hello I am using the newest SD card build for the FMCOMMS3 on ZedBoard. I am trying to transmit an audio file with no gain using the rx and tx on the same fmcomms3 board. This is not working well at all. I am confirming the content by looking at the gain on the input and output side as well as the waterfall plot.

My signal flow is attached below. The file I'm using has a very characteristic waterfall output which I am using to verify it's accuracy. Currently it doesn't match at all. I have played with the gain parameters of the FMComms Sink/Source but have not been able to get the input magnitude = output magnitude.

So what am I asking? How the hell do I simply transmit a wav file without signal loss? Do I need to modulate it? Or use some sort of encoding?
