What should audio input into the ADSP-21469 EZ-Board look like?

Hi,

I'm running the sample code in the Examples directory (e.g., C:\Program Files (x86)\Analog Devices\VisualDSP 5.0\214xx\Examples\ADSP-21469 EZ-Board\21469 AD1939 C Sampled-Based Talkthru 48 or 96 kHz).

The problem is that I cannot "see" any output from the board.

My setup is as follows:

Input:  Stanford Research Model DS345 Function Generator driving a 750 Hz signal at 0.600 Volts peak-to-peak.

I can see this signal coming into the board using an oscilloscope.  I can even see it at the input pin of the A2D (where it is approximately 1 v peak-to-peak).

However, I cannot see any output (again, using an oscilloscope).

What should the input signal look like?

Is there a reason that I cannot see the output signal?

Thanks,

Patrick
