Where can I find info about preparing a SDCard with a loader file.
I don't know which tool is able to write the ldr to the SDCard.
For my understanding I don't need a file system - only the raw LDR should stored on the SDCard?
Now we have our own hardware-board with the possibility to boot from RSI.
I write a ldr-file with RSI bootoption, and write this file via WIN32 DiskImager to a SD-Card.
It works and the SDCard booted successful.
This is much more comfortable than writing it via RSI interface to the card !
BF609 supports the RSI boot form SD/MMC card with a raw LDR programmed into it. It expects the LDR to be starting at the address 0 of the sector 0 of SD card.
There is no tool available to write the LDR to the SDCard, because it has to be in raw data forma(not file system). So basically any RSI read/write code can be used to program the LDR to the SD card. You need to pass the LDR as the buffer to the RSI code as a dat file and program it to sector 0 and that should do that job.
Hi Nabeel !
Thanks for information, i'll try it with the
Win32 Disk Imager which could be used to write raw images to SDCards(I use it to prg. a raspberry PI) with the given images.
So i'll try it and post the result, but currently I don't have any hardware which is able to boot from RSI.
