I am using adv7842 for getting video input from composite source. The output from adv7842 is shifted up. Are there any register settings to get it corrected ? I would appreciate any help in this regard.
The default scripts should set up the image correctly. Are you modifying any of the registers listed in section
10.9.1 CP Primary Synchronization Signals?
Thanks for the reply. I am not programming any of the registers from the section 10.9.1. I noticed that for different source of composite input the shift varies. For example, for one source the video is shifted upwards, but for other it is shifted to right and up. Is there any default register settings for all the standard composite inputs (PAL, NTSC, SECAM) ? Could you share the default script or register settings to be programmed for 480i and 576i.
All the scripts can be found in the AVES3 folder here

The sources maybe changing the pulse pulse timing a bit. The 7842 does not change the timing other then what is listed in section 10.9.1 and if those registers don't change then the sink will get what the source sends. The sink maybe responding differently to the various sources.
