IIO Blocks GNU Radio

Hello,

I'm using an FMCOMMS3 on ZedBoard with a blank Linaro Distro. I built GNURadio on this distribution following GNU Radio [Analog Devices Wiki] . When I load up the cyclic-sine.grc example the FMComms2 Sink and Source blocks were not found. I added the respective xmls to ~/.grc_gnuradio (found in the analog gnuradio git that I cloned) and restarted GNU Radio. The blocks are now present.

When compiling the program I get the following output:

Executing: "/home/linaro/gnuradio-examples/top_block.py"

Traceback (most recent call last):

File "/home/linaro/gnuradio/iio-examples/top_block.py", line 13, in <module>

     from gnuradio import iio

ImportError: cannot import name iio

>>>Done

Line 13 in top_block.py is:

     from gnuradio import iio

I'm sure there is a simple solution to this but I haven't figured it out. Thanks.

edit: Inside of the build path (gnuradio/build) I ran,

     make -C gr-iio

     sudo make install

This did not affect the outcome.
