Strange behavior of SSPD of ADV7842

I am seeing two strange problems related to this.

Setup: ADV7842-ADV7511 Eval kit, with an external microcontroller connected to I2C lines, INT1 and ground.

1) If I get an STDI interrupt (which works great) and then I check to see if the SSPD data valid bit is set (and/or wait for it to be set) and use the remaining bits of that read to determined the trigger source, I get the wrong answer. I have a sync-on-green source connected but bits 1 and 0 indicate there is activity on VS and HS.  If I then read the value again using AVES, I get the correct answer.  It appears that the data valid bit is getting set too early.

2) If I enable SSPD data valid interrupts, it prevents other interrupts from working, including the manual interrupt. If I set IO reg 0x46 to 0x10 everything is fine. If I set it to 0x90 no interrupts work.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Jeff
