What is the difference between the AD5755, AD5757, and AD5755-1?
The AD5755 is a quad channel DAC with multiple voltage and current output ranges and features dynamic power control for limiting thermal dissipation in current output mode.
The AD5755-1 is identical to the AD5755 except that it has no -Vsense pins and instead has a HART input pin per channel. This pin allows the user to couple a signal from a HART modem to the DAC output.
The AD5757 is a version of the AD5755 with only current output ranges, as well as HART input pins and an Igate pin per channel. The Igate pins can be used when the dc-dc converter functionality is not being used and allows for an external transistor on the current output which removes the majority of the power dissipation from the current output stage off chip and is instead dissipated from the external PMOS transistor.
