For my application, I want to digitize black & white RS-170 video (essentially NTSC).  I have two different video types with slightly different timing.  Both are 640x480 active video.  I only have to digitize one at a time; I will have a mux in my actual design.  Here are the specs for each of my video signals:

Video #1

  • HSYNC: 15.750 kHz
  • VSYNC: 60 Hz
  • Active Resolution: 640x480
  • Total Resolution: 772x525
  • H: 63.49 us
  • H Active: 52.62 us

Video #2

  • HSYNC: 15.703 kHz
  • VSYNC: 60 Hz
  • Active Resolution: 640x480
  • Total Resolution: 796x525
  • H: 63.68 us
  • H Active: 51.2 us

Which input should I connect this video type to on the ADV7181D Evaluation Board?  Should I use the Standard Definition Processor or the Component Processor path in the ADV1781D chip?  Is there a predefined script that will allow me to output the digitized video onto the HDMI output?
