I've been looking at the "Rx SIGNAL PATH INTERFACE" section in the AD9361 Reference Manual UG-570. On page 68 is covers the Single-Ended and Differential match. When I look at the Demo PCB for this transceiver (AD-FMCOMMS3-EBZ) it doesn't look like the RX matching recommendations have been implemented. It just appears that the signal comes from the RF connector (J110), through the balun (T105) and is coupled through 18 pF caps (C106 & C107) to block the RX pins' bias V. Is there a reason for not making use of the PI and T matching networks? I'm looking to design this into a product which covers 1.14 GHz to 1.46 GHz.
